In this case, Corneille Law Group successfully defended the driver of a motor vehicle in a lawsuit arising from a rear-end collision with a motorcycle. The lawsuit involved two Plaintiffs, both of whom claimed to have suffered head, neck, back and shoulder injuries after being thrown from the motorcycle they were riding on. In the closing argument, the Plaintiffs requested a total award of $496,768.11 – $571,768.11. This was comprised of $244,790.79 in medical expenses, $26,977.32 in lost wages and a request for $225,000 – $300,000 in pain and suffering. Ultimately, the jury followed the Corneille Law Group's recommendation and awarded the Plaintiffs $6,377.20 in lost wages and $55,364.25 in medical expenses. Both Plaintiffs were awarded nothing for their pain and suffering claims.
