Corneille Law Group is pleased to announce their firm's selections to the 2014 Wisconsin Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists.

  • Super Lawyers: Barrett Corneille, David Pliner, and Mark Budzinski.
  • Rising Stars: Gina Meierbachtol and Shannon Buttchen.

Both Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are selected based on peer nomination and recognition for professional achievement within their primary area of practice.  Rising Stars are limited to candidates that are either 40 years old or younger, or that have only been in practice for 10 years or less.  Only five percent of the lawyers in Wisconsin are listed in Super Lawyers, and only two and a half percent of lawyers in Wisconsin are listed in Rising Stars.

Additionally, Barrett Corneille was named to the Madison Area Top 25 and Wisconsin Top 50 lists.

While this is the first recognition for Shannon Buttchen, it is not the first time Barrett Corneille, David Pliner, Mark Budzinski, and Gina Meierbachtol have been selected to the Wisconsin Super Lawyers or Rising Stars lists.

Barrett Corneille has been selected to the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list every year since 2005.  Additionally, Barrett was selected to the Wisconsin Top 10 list in 2013, Madison Area Top 25 list from 2011 through 2014, and Wisconsin Top 50 list in 2009 and from 2011 through 2013.

David Pliner has been selected to the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list every year since 2011, and was selected to the Madison Area Top 25 in 2013.

Mark Budzinski was selected to the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list for the first time in 2013, and was also selected to the Wisconsin Rising Stars list in 2007, and 2010 through 2012.

Gina Meierbachtol was selected to the Wisconsin Rising Stars list in 2011 and 2012.
