In August 2023, Mark Budzinski and Aaron Baratz of the Corneille Law Group successfully secured a defense verdict for a physician in a brain damaged baby case, concluding nearly four years of litigation. The case revolved around an allegation that an episode of neonatal hypoglycemia just after the child's birth resulted in the severe catastrophic brain injury that ultimately led to spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.  Plaintiffs were represented by a national personal injury firm known for high dollar verdicts in similar types of cases.  The plaintiffs were seeking over $20,000,000 in combined economic and non-economic damages.

After the eleven-day trial, the jury, consisting of twelve members, deliberated for just over an hour before rendering their verdict in favor of the physician and finding he was not negligent in the care and treatment of the child.
