Having started his career with 15 years in the healthcare industry, Adam Fitzpatrick brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to his work as an attorney. Adam's experience in both hospital and pre-hospital settings, as well as work as a fire fighter and paramedic, shaped his understanding of healthcare and medicine and particularly inform his work as a litigator defending providers from medical malpractice claims. His work also encompasses a range of general liability defense cases, from personal injury to large construction losses.

Prior to joining Corneille Law Group, Adam served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Juan Colás, Julie Genovese, and Rhonda Lanford at the Dane County Circuit Court. He is a member of the Corneille Law Group Madison medical negligence team, which garnered a first tier ranking by U.S. News and World Report: Best Law Firms® for medical malpractice defense in 2024.

Most recently, Adam successfully completed a rigorous application and testing process to achieve Board Certification as a civil practice advocate from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA), a distinction only achieved by approximately three percent of attorneys.

A lifelong Wisconsinite, Adam was born and raised in La Crosse and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in neuroscience and history. He received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School.  While in law school, Adam participated in moot court, represented clients throughout various types of litigation, and was selected to be a director of the Civil Practice Clinic.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with a big and boisterous group of family and friends, cheering on the Badgers, motorcycling, and reading.
