The team at Corneille Law Group extends congratulations to attorney Adam Fitzpatrick for being honored with the 2023 Publication Award from the Wisconsin Defense Counsel's (WDC) Wisconsin Civil Trial Journal. The award, bestowed by the Journal editor and Board of Directors, honors Adam along with co-author and peer Daniel Finerty of Lindner & Marsack for their article, “Defending Native American Clients and Their Carrier Partners – The Impact of Wisconsin's Tribal Gaming Compacts.”

Adam's practice focuses on defending medical malpractice claims, nursing home and long-term care litigation matters, and alleged abuse and neglect and related claims against providers. In addition, he works on a wide range of general liability defense cases including personal injury, large construction losses, product liability claims, premises liability and insurance coverage matters. In addition, he successfully completed a rigorous application and testing process to achieve Board Certification as a civil practice advocate from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA), a distinction only achieved by approximately three percent of attorneys.

Adam and Dan will receive their award at the WDC Annual Conference August 10-11 in Wisconsin Dells, and a copy of the award and article will be included in the publication's Summer 2023 issue. The Wisconsin Civil Trial Journal is published three times annually and provides scholarly information and analysis on tort topics and matters of interest to the defense bar.
